We being the Lenten season with an Ash Wednesday Service at 6:30 am.
Lenten Series- February 25-March 25, 2026
We gather each of the Wednesdays during the Season of Lent for our Midweek Lenten Series, which takes place in our Fellowship Hall and runs for a total of five weeks. Each Wednesday we will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30 pm. For more information please click the button below.
Holy Week Reflections Monday, March 30-Wednesday, April 1
Pastor Dave will send out Bible readings and writings for each day via email, allowing those interested to participate in these observances from home. If anyone would like to check out a Moravian Holy Week Readings book you are welcome to do so.
Maundy Thursday
Thursday, April 2, 2026 - 7:00 pm
​The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin “mandatum” which means “commandment.” It refers to Jesus’ words in John 13:34 at the Last Supper: “a new commandment I give to you, that you love one another.” We will gather to remember Jesus’ words to his disciples on his final night with them.
Good Friday
Friday, April 3, 2026 - 7:00 pm
The word “tenebrae” is Latin for “shadows.” We will gather for a Tenebrae Service, a simple worship service consisting of scripture and song, where we will recall the shadows that Jesus faced on our behalf.
