WORSHIP MINISTRIES
Call to Worship
The opening part of a worship service, where a leader
invites the congregation to focus their attention on God through scripture, essentially marking the beginning of worship by calling people to actively engage with their faith and enter into God's presence.
Scripture Readers
Volunteers read the assigned scripture during Sunday morning worship. Schedules are sent out in advance so that the reader
is able to become familiar with the text. The scripture serves
as the basis of the sermon each Sunday.

Worship Choir
The Adult Choir performs every Sunday during the traditional worship service, with rehearsals held on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, beginning in September. We extend an open invitation to anyone interested in joining. Additionally, members may be invited to participate in special worship services throughout the year.
Worship Hosts
Serving as a Worship Host or Usher plays a key role in creating a
warm and inviting atmosphere for those attending services by greeting them as they arrive. The Worship Host is responsible for turning on the appropriate lights in the sanctuary and lighting the candles for worship. Additional responsibilities include distributing bulletins and other
materials, collecting tithes and offerings, and providing assistance to both members and visitors as needed. Individuals of all ages are
encouraged to participate as a Worship Host
Sacristan
The Sacristan is responsible for preparing the communion trays by filling the required number of cups with grape juice. This individual also arranges the communion table, situated near the altar, by placing the
bread and the trays in their proper positions.
After the worship service, the Sacristan takes charge of cleaning up the bread and washing both the communion cups and trays.
Sunday School Teachers
Volunteers are sought to foster an atmosphere where children feel encouraged and supported in discussing God. If you are inspired to help enrich the faith of our youth through Bible lessons and engaging activities, we would be thrilled to have you join our team of educators. All materials and lesson plans will be provided. Sunday School is currently being offered immediately following the Children's Sermon during worship.
Sunday Fellowship Hour
Fellowship Hour takes place weekly after worship, offering a wonderful chance to reconnect with fellow church members, welcome visitors,
or delve deeper into the themes discussed during the service. Congregational volunteers host this gathering by providing drinks and light snacks. You can choose to volunteer individually
or collaborate with another church member.
Wiggle Room
Volunteers are essential in creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for the nursery-aged children of our members and visitors. It is crucial for volunteers to assist parents in caring for their children while ensuring a consistently safe, clean, and wholesome facility.
Prayer Network
The Prayer Network's mission is to share prayer requests
with a dedicated group of individuals who are devoted to the
ministry of praying for those in need.
