In-Person Sunday Services

Have Resumed

Guidelines & Procedures
In order to open safely, we have implemented some
changes to our standard Sunday Mornings. We are excited to resume in person worship services, but we are continuing to stream on Facebook Live as well.  For information about our guidelines we invite you to watch the video to the right and read the policies below.

Entrance & Exit

  • RECENT CHANGE:
AT OUR LAST BOARD OF ELDERS MEETING WE DECIDED TO DISCONTINUE TEMPERATURE TAKING.

  • An usher will guide you to a pew. We will be seating people from the front of the sanctuary to the back.

  • Other than using the restroom, please remain in your pew for the duration of the service and keep personal items such as coats with you in the pew.

  • At the conclusion of the service, the ushers will dismiss worshippers by row starting at the back of the church.

Social Distancing

  • Masks will be required for those age 2 and older. Disposable masks will be available for those who don’t have a mask. The worship service will not continue if someone chooses not to wear a mask. If you do not want to wear a mask or are unable to do so for medical reasons, we would ask that you worship from home.

  • To help with social distancing, we will utilize 6-foot spaced floor stickers. Certain pews will be marked off and we ask that only household members sit together.

  • We will not offer the Right Hand of Fellowship, instead simply inviting worshippers to look around with love and gratitude for their brothers and sisters around them.

Elements of Worship

  • Bulletins will be set in the pews so that they don’t need to be distributed.

  • A plate or box will be available at the entrance to the sanctuary for offerings.

  • RECENT CHANGE
AT OUR LAST BOARD MEETING WE MADE THE DECISION TO BEGIN SINGING HYMN WHILE CONTINUING TO WEAR MASKS.

  • There will be no in-person Children’s Church. The Children’s Message will be offered, but with children remaining in the pews.

  • Pre-wrapped single-service communion elements will be ordered and placed directly in the pews on Communion Sundays.

  • Services will be kept under an hour in duration to minimize exposure.

  • Names of attendees will be recorded so that we may contact everyone personally in the event of someone testing positive after attending a service.

Additional Reminders

  • Worship will remain at
    9:00 am.

  • The service will still be offered via live stream, with an emphasis on offering a quality online worship experience (PowerPoint slides, addressing the camera and people in the sanctuary equally)

  • Sunday School and Bible Study classes will remain online.
